In the spirit of needing to do more...

I am making hats, hopefully some mitts and maybe some scarves and I'm doing it from the pleathera of yarn I have in my stash. Some of it is oh, why did I buy that and then I find the other skein it goes with. I'll will post pictures soon so you can see the newest items I am doing. I can say, while the charity knitting is taking up a great deal of my time, I am still finding time to work on my sweater. But what makes me feel really good is that I can make something for someone that has a real need for it. Erin, the yarn you gave me is going to find its way in to scarves or ponchos for the yonger children. I think done with two thread should make the fabric very heavy and there for warm. I beg all of you out there who live in the US to help the Native Americans at Pine Ridge SD. They don't need just clothing items, they need books, personal hygene etc. To get the post on my previous entry and you can get to there web site and see what they are looking for. There is NO reason for an American Citizen to die of starvation or to freeze to death for lack of heat!
